Heidi has decided to go to Russia to teach English. She has been working all summer, with me at Jean Brown Research,to earn her way.  She will live with a host family, teach in the afternoon and explore eastern Europe the rest of the time.
She left Thursday.  Russia is 10 hours a head of us.  I have been able to speak with her each day.
She is living with a young family right in Moscow.  They have two children, a 10 year old boy and a 7 year old girl.
Heidi has already had her first bowl of beet soup.  She did not like it.  Big surprise!
Good luck Heidi.  I will miss you and I am very excited for you.
