Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert.
I really love this book.
This is the second read for me.

What I love about it.
Elizabeth's writing style.
Elizabeth's descriptiveness of the countries she visits.
The fact that it is a true story.

Alexandria, Virginia

Part of my trip to DC included an incredible afternoon in Alexandria, VA. How did I happen to this fair town you ask? The gal I went with, Becky, has a daughter, Hayden, who lives in Alexandria. So one day we spent the afternoon with Hayden in Alexandria, shopping at Trader Joes, eating at Carlyle's and strolling down King Street in Old Town Alexandria.

I felt so lucky to be there and experience the feel of this town. I didn't take these photos, I forgot my camera, but these are photos of the town.

One of the highlights was to stop and listen to a man on the street who was playing water glasses. It was incredible. I thought I was in heaven as I listened to him play. "Come thou Fount."

It was a wonderful day.

Girls At Work

Some times in life there is a rare opportunity to work with incredible people. I am that blessed right now. Becky, Mindy and I are an incredible team. We all work at Central Utah Clinic in clinical research. We have a great time and love our jobs.

Recently our boss, Denise Roberts, quit her job. Denise was part of this great group and it was a very sad day for all of us when she quit.

Before Denise quit we were planning to do a Christmas card with the theme "Denise's Angels." Not able to do that now, we decided to do the pictures anyway as a going away gift for Denise. These are a few of the photos we took.

We had a blast doing this.

And.....we will miss you Denise, very much!
