More of St Charles, MO and my day in St Louis. I cannot get enough of this town!

A walk along the Katy trail in St Charles lead me to this old museum of Lewis and Clark.  They started here in St Louis.  A lot of history here with these fellows.d

Favorite Things: Street Tacos

Street Tacos are fast becoming my favorite food!
I found a great one today, of course on Main Street in St Charles.
La Tia and Panchos Cantina Grill

Catching up. Jen, Heidi and me on the 24th of July

24th of July has some tradition since we lived in Spanish Fork and the 24th is their BIG celebration, "Fiesta Days."

A stop off at Krispy Kremes.
We all love chocolate iced creme filled.
But had to try the strawberry creme filled one also.  It was a stiff completer.

Fiesta days with a Texas twister lemonade.  The girls told me they were always afraid to ask me to get one because they are kind of expensive.  :( that they were afraid to ask.
We usually walk around a bit and then decide it is TOO HOT to stay.
Yep, that is exactly what happened this year.

There is a great quilt show at the Fiesta days.
Here are a few of my favorites.

IN St Louis- staying entertained while I am here.

Saturday night in St Louis.
Rascal Flatts,  finally to see them live!
It was awesome.

July 4th

I began the day in Provo, UT at the Balloon Festival.  I had to leave my home at 5:00 am to be down there at 6:00 am.  Love hot air balloons.

And ended the day at Sue Scott's house for a pool party.
Jen and Heidi made this cake.  Crazy amazing, huh?  I love the photo of Gma in the back all decked out in the red white and blue.  This shows her "true colors."  Such a patriot.

Adventure/Explore- Walking Salt Lake

I bought this book at Costco.  It intrigued me because I want to know more about this great city that I live in.   It is a walking tour of Salt Lake City.

I began the adventure this afternoon.  I wondered, at one point what I was doing because it was 96 degrees outside and I was walking uphill.  But I did it.

I took the walk of the Salt Lake cemetery.

This happens to be the tombstone for the parents of my mission president, Hyrum Smith.

Those who lost their lives at war.  It always touches my heart as I pass by.

This was the most interesting tombstone.

And I think this was the most beautiful.

July 1, 2018 More of ...My Favorite Things St Louis

St Louis is Home of Bissinger's Chocolate.  My good friend Becky introduced me to this aMaZiNg chocolate.   I tried a dark chocolate and a milk chocolate piece. (I paid $5 for two pieces of chocolate.)   The burst of fresh raspberry (my favorite berry) in my mouth was the best thing I have tasted in a long time.

I must speak of my new job! I left Jean Brown Research in Sept 2017 and went to Evolution Research Group for a new adventure.  My title is: Consultant, Analgesic Specialist, Clinical Operations. Since I consult, I now have my own company, LCS Consulting. I travel a lot. Almost every week. I ❤️ it. I'm blessed!  I fly to each location, often in first class, sleep in beautiful hotels, eat great food and drive a different car each week. This week I lucked out and got a beautiful maroon 2019 Jeep Cherokee.
